The food police are going to arrest me

I've committed some serious violations in the last few days. First, I baked these cinnamon rolls for a birthday breakfast over the weekend. Fortunately, someone else kept the leftovers so I didn't have to eat them. Though before they were claimed, I did wonder what cinnamon roll bread pudding would taste like.

Last night, in what can only be described as a felony offense, I made Pioneer Woman's husband's favorite sandwich and as a side dish... Weeeelll, you want to take a guess? You're right! Those are deep fried green beans! Because there was fried food involved, Spork even donned an apron and fried the beans while I made the sammiches.

And for the record, the deep fried green bean is a good thing!

In an unrelated topic, here is a gratuitous picture of my girl, Daisy. Her life is hard.

So 2 days ago you show me some new gooey cinnamon roll recipe (a day after you made a totally different cinnamon roll) and now you say you wonder what cinnamon roll bread pudding tastes like? What are you waiting for? Get busy. You're wasting daylight.

I'm waiting for a sign. A sign that I have found the cinnamon roll recipe. I'm expecting to hear the sound of angels' trumpets or Paula Deen's voice when I've found the right one.

What recipe did you use on the rolls? and how was the sandwich?

Funny, that "hey yall" sounded a lot like spork. ;)

Cinnamon roll recipe was a variation of this recipe from Better Homes and Gardens:

I have it in a book and it lists several different fillings/frostings. Mine was the same, except I used a regular powdered sugar glaze. I also forgot to add salt. Doh! No one seemed to notice, but I knew it.

The sandwich was very good! I stuck to the recipe this time, but it might be good with some sauteed mushrooms and/or peppers and maybe a slice of provolone cheese.

Hmm, i was just curious - why not the cinnamon roll from the Pioneer Woman site?

Hmmm, no real reason. That one looks great (as always), but I had made this recipe before. For some reason, I am obligated to leave some ingredient out of cinnamon rolls. Usually it's the raisins or nuts, but this time it was the salt.
